نویسندگان

چکیده

Intrauterine devices block luteolysis in cyclic mares, but the underlying mechanism is unknown. To clarify mechanisms, protein profile of endometrial secretome was analyzed using two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis (2D-DIGE). Twenty-seven mares were classified according to whether they inseminated (AI) or had an intrauterine device (IUD), a water-filled plastic sphere, inserted into uterus on Day 3 after ovulation. Uterine lavage fluids collected 15 from pregnant (AI-P; n = 8), non-pregnant (AI-N; 4), and with IUD (n 15). The group further divided prolonged (IUD-P; 7) normal luteal phase (IUD-N; 8) groups basis ultrasound examinations, serum levels progesterone PGFM Days 14 15, COX-2 results 15. Four each selected for 2D-DIGE analyses. Ten proteins significantly different abundance among groups, nine identified. Malate dehydrogenase 1, increased sodium tolerance aldehyde 1A1, prostaglandin reductase albumin hemoglobin highest mares; T-complex 1 annexin A1 6-phosphogluconolactonase mares. suggest that behind likely related inflammation.
